Children & Preschoolers
We provide nursery care during Sunday and Wednesday activities using trained, screened, and experienced volunteers (all are church members). The Preschool Welcome Center Greeter will assist you in checking your child into the Preschool Department. You will complete an information form and then you will receive a Security Card. You will be escorted to the Preschool Room for the age of your child and be introduced to your child's teachers. The teachers may ask you for information that will help to meet your child's needs while in their care. When you return for your child, you will check your child out by signing the check-out sheet and returning the Security Card to the Preschool Welcome Center before you pick up your child.
For security purposes, the Preschool area is LOCKED during worship services. We have volunteers in place each week to ensure the area is secure.
On Wednesdays, 3-year-olds to Kindergartners participate in Mission Friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
Children (1st - 6th Grade):
Sunday School - 9:30 a.m.
At Beallwood we use the "Desiring God" curriculum for Children 1st -6th grade.
The goal of this curriculum is to fuel spiritual desire in children by exalting the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Jesus Christ.'
We do not provide 'children's church.' While we do provide nursery care for Birth to K/5, we believe that worship is a family experience and encourage children in 1st grade and up to begin to learn the discipline and practice of worshipping with the Church Family. We understand that young children are still learning what goes on in "big church," and we welcome them to be in worship.
